Nope, never hit my partner. My partner has hit me once or twice, and I have pushed her away, in defense, but I've never hit her. In fact, the only time I ever hit anyone is when a bratty teenage boy hit me in the face with a snowball. I pushed him down.

There’s no such thing as “unintentional abuse”.
I smacked my ex in the mouth when she told me she was cheating on me. It wasn’t premeditated, but i certainly intended to hurt her in response to her hurting me.

yeah i handled flashbacks really badly until a year ago (EDMR therapy)
