Because a lot of people are hypocritical and judgmental and think they know everything based off of their own personal experiences and things they witnessed , so just ignore people that act like they know how your life will turn out , They don’t know shit period , Just be like thanks for the advice now get the fuck out of my face lol

Probably because they are going by statistics that state that the vast majority of young people will come out of a particular phase that they are in, and make the right and proper decision. Whether it's about homosexuality or transvestitism or some other "LGBT" subject matter. Or it could be something entirely different. The point is, that they are wanting for you, what's in your best interest.

Sometimes that is true because life happens and things happen to you that make you change your perspective on whatever it is and then sometimes it’s not it’s OK to be a certain way, like not wanting to rush into having kids or not rushing into marriage just because everyone around you getting married and having kids

It's called experience. The thing about advice is that you can listen to it but you don't have to take it. You may change your mind about life choices, hopefully you can if those choices were a mistake
