Can a person change their minds?

If you asked someone for a favor or someone asked you for a favor, can you/they change your/their mind? Is it much inconvenience to you?

I mean, changing their minds is dependent on the favor being accepted in the first place. If I accepted a favor and changed my mind about it, I’d tap out and apologize. If I asked for a favor and someone else became available for the same task that I think is better suited for it, I would thank them and tell them they don’t need to anymore

Because someone got angry i found someone else to do the favor i asked of them. It was ridiculous. He was so upset. He actually wanted me to stick to just having him do it. Like…

Sounds like you hurt his pride a little as he took it to mean you didn’t trust him to do it as well. I’m sure it can be cleared up with some communication and an apology.
