I think it's my strength to do the right thing despite knowing the consequences. I've faced the aftermath sometimes but still I'll never stop. If I see anything wrong happening to anyone, I would intervene in case I don't see them in taking a stand for themselves. I can't just watch awful things happening around me and ignore it.

I love that i genuinely care about people. Seeing someone in pain, or sad, angry... really does affect me. I always want to help somehow. And if I can, I make the effort.

@strateguy632 Thanks, man! I learned this when my father passed away. If his life wasn't a great enough example, his death was. He passed away the day after Christmas 24 years ago. And the pews were filled and people standing in the back and along the walls. People I never met before. People I never knew my father knew. But they knew him, and I was amazed how many had a story to tell about how my father had been instrumental in their life in some way. Because my father lived for his family. But apparently, my father had been a father figure, a brother, a listening ear, a role model to many.
I know I'll never be my father because he set the bar too damn high. But if I can be a 10th of what he was at least and carry his name with honor, I'll consider myself a success.
