I won't kill for love. There's other things but that's the top one.

For me, and at this point of my life, love is too much work and I no longer value "love" as even a good thing in most circumstances. If I don't have love come easy, I'm not even going to try and get any.

Basically I view it like this, if the cost outweighs the result, then what's the fucking point?

I mean I'm to the point that I pity people that try... and they just get manipulated, betrayed, ripped off, sponged off of, weighed down with obligations that don't even serve their own best interest, and then hung out to dry when they fail at accepting it like a hen pecked chicken or to meet expectations. People can try that shit with me, and I view them being mad or hating me as a plus... less bullshit I have to deal with.

I'm not judging others that obsess about it... just do shit that people love about you. I lift weights and cook... bitches seem to like that. I get love. But I do that shit for me first and foremost and I just get all the bitches.

Start asking for bullshit though and you can go cry about it

I can’t necessarily say I wouldn’t kill for my hypothetical significant other or spouse. Murder I wouldn’t perform for them but kill for out mutual preservation against some sort of act of violence I cannot rule out.

What I would not do is murder for ‘them’.

Let's say you had a weapon and knew how to use it. Home invasion or mass shooting at a restaurant. The shooter just took out a family member. Now he's reloading in front of you. You can stop it. You would sit there and let him gun down your kids, your husband, your siblings, your parents? You wouldn't open up that guy's head like a ripe watermelon? I would. With no feeling of remorse.

If you are referring to the feeling of infatuation we sometimes feel when we meet someone new. All of a sudden you're making out at the dinner table etc. That never lasts since it's impossible once you get to know each other longer. I'm not sure what love is. The notion we have now is a hollywood fable that didn't exist until medieval times when the crusade were in full swing and Christians were killing everyone to demonstrate the love of Jesus. The hangers on and the not quite ready to go hung around the south of France & seduced the wives and fiances while their SO was killing everyone. Then we had a second pope in Avignon & a 3rd one in Naples to confuse situation.

I won't break my principles or my beliefs. I won't betray who I am for anyone. If I do that, how could I live with myself knowing I was so easily swayed? Relationship require give and take. That's not what I'm talking about. When you meet me you either accept who and what I am or you don't. Of course I'll adapt who I am to our relationship.
