Would you revisit the idea of a potential relationship with someone you've known but never dated?

If there's someone you've been on and off with for a while (platonically) and you know they were interested in you at some level in the past... would you revisit the possibility of a romantic relationship or is it too late.

If we liked each other in the past and there's still chemistry there, I'd try.

If we liked each other in the past but there's no strong chemistry, I'd skip it and just be friends.

If too much time has passed (over a year) there's no point trying.

If the other person dates around too much there's no point in trying.

Not likely. If they weren't willing to take me as I am now, I wouldn't want be be with them later. The only reasons why I would understand if someone isn't interested in someone is due to low physical attraction, or I have a shitty personality. I'm already in decent shape and I'd like to think I'm an okay guy personality wise (although I do rub some wrong way), so if they're not interested, neither am I.

Honestly no. If I were single, there are women who I have considered to be my friends, there isn't a single one who I would be more than friends with. This is either because they rejected me, or because I rejected them.

When I was dating I was very specific about what I wanted. Heck, when I met my wife I wasn't even dating, I had kind of given up on relationships.

Anyway to answer your question, unless there were some very specific situations, there is no chance I would revisit someone I turned down, or was turned down by.

kind of dealing with this now , was this girl i wanted to date really badly around 2022-23 but couldn't get , a few years later she seems more interested in the idea now and entirely sure why but so much time has passed and she obviously dated other guys in the years since i was first into her

and she seems oddly annoyed that i like this other girl more now instead
