If my girlfriend has male friends. Should I try to have female friends too?

Like she’s known them for years. And I tried telling her in the past that I can’t have female friends. And she thinks I’m weird. But the things is that every female relationship I had was always weird. Like they be flirty. And I had some convey feelings to me. Even a girl who I thought was a lesbian, confessed to having feelings for me before. But I didn’t tell my girlfriend that. I think that’s a lot different than having opposite sex friends for years. Not the same.

My rule of thumb is that any male friends I had before my relationship (and it’s not a problematic or sus friendship) I’m keeping. Anyone new should be mutual. So I would say that if you went out of your way to make female friends then they should be mutual with your girlfriend is well. Your girlfriend already had those male friends.
