My wife and I are separating and she says she wants to miss me because she misses me and not just miss having me around like depend on me. So I ask is there really a difference? We have been together for 25years. We have had our issues but things have been fine this just came out of nowhere. How should I feel?

It was hers its a messed up situation you wants it to work out but she doesn't want to depend on me which I understand but I can support her through this I want her to feel like she dont need me for any other reason then to want me but ya its confusing I try to move on but she calls and says mot to give up hope its tough I still love her so much I thought when you marry someone you try to work on these issues rather then just give up when you lose that spark she fell in love with me before why can't it come back with some effort

Ya I dont know if she is just keeping me around in case her plan dont work but she has told me a few times when she thought I was moving on and told me she hasn't given up yet so she hopes I haven't either
