One of the most romantic things that a guy did for me was play the guitar and sing for me, while I sang with him…however we never really dated.

Also, again not a boyfriend but staying back to help me with something after he had already finished working and ordering something specially for me just because I said I liked it once.

a lot of things come to my mind when I try to answer this. The most romantic thing someone has ever done for me was plan a surprise "camping" trip for her and I when she didn't like to go camping... it wasn't camping; more staying in a cabin in the mts. But we had a hot tub and fire at night, we went stargazing and hiking during the day. We did all the things she thought I liked to do, we just had a very cozy weekend together away from the world. What made this the most romantic idea to me was how much thought that women tried to put into planning on doing what I wanted without Me telling her what I wanted. The effort she put into everything for me was like unmatched. It made me feel "worth" it and I don't know what i did to be that worth it to her. I know she really had a good time, Even thou camping wasn't her thing as much as mine.

• It starts with the engagement ring.
• Flowers. But they must be sent to her at work so other's can see her receiving them.
• Jewelry she can flash to her girlfriends.
• Vacations where she can post selfies for her friends to see.
• Romantic birthday and anniversary dinners. More selfies.
• Weekend getaway surprises involving a fireplace and wine in January.

Almost never does a man receive anything thoughtful in a romantic way from a woman. Cook dinner then toss on some lingerie, hop on the bed, and spread your legs for his birthday. That's about the extent of what women are willing or capable of doing for a man. And guys accept that reality.

Once, someone memorized the way I took my coffee, the songs that calmed me, the words I never said out loud, n matched my energy without me asking..

This guy who I was seeing (who was also my neighbor who lived directly across the street from me) paid for a babysitter in advance without my knowledge.
We lived in California right near the Pacific Ocean.
He hooked up his boat and we got in. He drove the boat then tied it up to the dock at a fancy restaurant where we had breakfast and went water skiing all day.
