I believe in signs with Mel gibbson, tried to hold in his emotions and be strong. As you see, most men seem to be cold to the actions we want to see out of them. Which sure as hell isn't easy. But for you, do you want your S. O. to show their feelings of sorrow, pain and so on? I'm sure no one wants to see another cry, and some don't cry at all. Still believe they have a heart and shouldn't be scolded for not showing emotions.

The reason is what men have to put up with. War is the main one. I saw video of a wounded soldier in Ukraine. He was in a little pocket in the rock, shot up, in agony , dying. He couldn't wait to get his rifle cocked, pointed at his chin and fired. It was filmed by a Ukrainian drone from what it looked like. In another video solders were walking along, one was blown up by an IED, he lay there in shreds. His comrade immediately shot him in the head. Men had to have evolved a lot of traits to deal with this kind of thing.
