I wanted to add a poll- asking if you are content or not and cross examine they with time spent to see if there is any correlation found.

And I understand that everybody necessarily spends every day together that’s why I’m asking on average.

I'm married. We sleep in the same bed next to each other for about 5 hours a night. I go to bed late and she gets up early.

We spend 2 to 4 hours together four evenings, depending on her hours. And we spend about two full days a week at home together.

She works part time, usually leaves the house around 9:15am and gets home between 6:30 and 9:00pm four days a week. She is self employed as a hair stylist and is involved with a couple of different groups that meet in the evening.

She goes to church, has lunch, and often goes for a hike with a (girl) friend on Saturdays and usually gets home around 3:00.

She sometimes gets groceries and runs errands after work.

She is home on Sunday and Monday but goes to a meeting on Monday night from 5:00 to 8:30 or 9:00.

We live in a rural area and all of her activities are in town a 1/2 hour away.

So I would say that we are together every day for a minimum of 9 hours and for 48 to 50 hours a week.
It works out well because it gives us both time to do what we want to do. She enjoys her job, meetings, church and walks with her friend.
We enjoy being together but would go crazy if we were together 24/7.

Are you asking about Husband Time? Indian married women, as a tradition is round the clock with her husband – if not physically, mentally – by heart. It's been a long time since I was in a serious relationship. Since retiring, it's only been some casual relationships and non-relationship casual dating,. That means seeing each other as little as once every couple weeks, to a few times a week for a few hours each, with occasional daylong activities.

When I was much younger, I tended to be with my girlfriend most waking hours. As we got older and had more responsibilities and jobs, that decreased a lot. I tended to work long hours, which may or may not have aligned with her work schedule. Even when living together that didn't leave more than a few hours a day at most. On some days we barely saw each other in passing.

Since retiring, if I was in a serious live-in relationship, I think we'd both give each other a lot of space. When we aren't working, we can't be in each other's face constantly, especially since we'd both already have well-established lives and routines.

Don't have a partner currently, but if I did have one, I'd like to spend at least a few hours of my day with them on average. Sometimes I need space to recharge, and sometimes I'd be busy. Some days we might not see each other at all, and some days we might spend the entire day together. I think it would average out to around 3 hours a day

We spend maybe 2-3 hours a day doing things together.

@Iron_Man My wife can't handle my snoring, even though what really bothers her is my breathing. She has really sensitive hearing. We've been sleeping in separate rooms for several years. We both sleep better that way.

@Iron_Man I should also add that we usually go to bed and wake up at different times. She's usually in bed by 10pm an gets up at 6am, while I go to bed around midnight and don't get up until 8am. Sleeping separately makes that easy to do for both of us.
