Are extramarital affairs common in workplaces?

Extramarital affairs are increasingly being common in workplace in India, but I have a tabu / dislike for it. Significant numbers of employees are now involved in office romances, mainly driven by proximity, shared stress, helping each other, and changing social norms, despite company policies and POSH - Prevention of Sexual Harassment laws. Factors like high-pressure jobs, limited personal time at home, and seeing colleagues in their best look, dress and make up contribute to these connections, especially in corporate sectors. younger workers are more cautious about career impact, social impact and possibilities of meeting in privet. Men are generally more likely than women to initiate and have affairs with female colleagues, while women still express more concern about family and social traditions and professional repercussions. Spending long hours of duty together builds familiarity and emotional bonds. It offers an escape from domestic stress, presenting a more competent and exciting version of oneself. Increased openness about sex and relationships in modern India, Apps and online interactions make it easier to find like-minded people.
