He wants to work in order for me to stay home which for me it would be amazing thing is I have always been alone. I have never moved in with anybody. Right now it's just my mom and I and my dog and I love it. I like my space a lot plus he has 2 boys and they are so messy, I feel like it has only been 2 years and I don't know if I see myself with him. I like my small condo because even though I am always cleaning at least it is small. If I were to move in with him I'd have to clean more and clean the boys mess because I like my home clean. At times I want to just break things off because he also smokes weed and I hate that, I feel like I'm just in the relationship but it's not fun. I feel bored in the relationship with my boyfriend, it's not exciting. I want to go hiking and explore and he works nights and even though says he likes to hike he doesn't make an effort to go. I don't know I'm just venting on here and hearing people's advice

Well you shouldn’t marry someone you’re going to resent. Also, if you think staying home is a free ride it’s not. A real relationship people work equally hard in different roles. Meaning you’ll be doing many chores in and outside the home. You will both be exhausted… spend long periods of time away from one another and maybe have enough time to kiss one another good night and go to sleep. Many of these marriages fail because people have fantasy ideas of what it is. And I think he may be one of them…. Maybe you.

They end in resentment. If a man comes home to a exhausted wife who gives him a honey do list after working 80 plus hours a week. He throws a fit…. He doesn’t feel appreciated by his wife. His wife doesn’t feel appreciated by him. The time away from one another especially in situations where travel is involved. A lot of times opens the door for cheating on both peoples time… people can claim there isn’t time to cheat. Believe me… if there is a will there is a way. And it happens.

If you want to be a stay at home mom. There is nothing wrong with that. As long as you know what you’re getting into and find the right partner.

But. If you’re considering breaking things off. Don’t get married… until either the relationship ends or you get to a point where you’re sure you want s future. Which I don’t see one that ends well being honest.

Imagine… if you marry him and get divorced. You could spend 10 years not working and get fucked in the end. Having to start over. Especially if you sign a prenup that gives you absolute zero protections. Even if he cheats or initiates the divorce.
