I was initially dragged into a conversation.
People tend to keep different standards for different men.
I was shocked to know that the woman who was leading the conversation said something like" if he is my boyfriend I am willing to get married to him, have his kids and be a housewife I don't have issues.
Or else I am only going to stick to a short term relationship I don't want to sacrifice my career for someone like that"

Is it true for men as well?

In my mind the relationship thrives on the thing they do for each other without telling.
Efforts, support and understanding.
So from my perspective if I am in a relationship I will treat them as best as I can
Not less than others!
As far as my economic conditions and time I can spare with them.

The issue is many people use other people in hopes of finding someone new or better. But that’s the thing…. Someone could always be better. If someone’s not looking for someone to build a bond and a companionship with. The marriage probably won’t last. If it’s superficial and materialistic. Because people also do seek that…. And tend to seek it from others outside the relationship.

Irs true for some women and some men yes. People will it’s called future faking they’re with someone for the time being in case all else fails. They have someone to fall back on. Because in the end they want the immediate benefits of a relationship but they also eventually want to have kids and everything else. So they will stay with someone and waste their life away. Pretending to be more invested then they really are.

I’m not going to invest in someone I don’t see a future with. Point blank… I won’t waste your time I won’t waste mine. If I’m not attracted to you I’m not going to stay with someone just for the benefits of a relationship. Just to have someone for financial reasons. For sex. Just for the sake of having kids and building appearances. It’s not worth it. It’s also wrong to do that to another person.

See. Some people are hold others. Some people are good for sex. That’s about it…. They are fun in bed. But would never make good long term partners. There is people that are good for using as a emotional therapist. They’re good enablers. They’re good at listening to your bitch and complain. You can cry on them… But eh. Don’t see a future.

There is people that are good for financial reasons. But you don’t have much in common with.

Yeah, I think there is a subconscious thing we all do with handsome men and pretty women.

People defer to good looking people. They automatically assume you are smart, trustworthy, accomplished, competent, etc. it’s societal conditioning of both gender’s behavior towards the opposite gender.

However while some men will defer to a tall handsome guy, it can also trigger jealousy and insecurity.

The same is true for women judging a hot looking woman. Jealousy, competition and insecurity will come out sometimes.
