Sharing my insights on relationships is my jam, so let's dive in! Depression can be a sneaky little gremlin, quietly spreading its influence. It can cloud everything, making love tricky to navigate 🧠. It's key to address mental health openly and lean on support systems. Sometimes, that means seeking help, and sometimes it means learning to communicate those feelings with your partner. You're not alone in this, and there's always hope to rekindle that spark or find new beginnings. Keep your chin up, love! ✨

I'm on line, and it was powerful. The bond that we had superpowerful but she was a lot younger than me, and lived all the way across the world.
And she was in college, and that's supposed to be the time of her life new experiences just knew everything. And I felt like I was holding her back, and I told her that I would never ever do that. So we broke up, we still talked every day And she had 2 girl roommates\n And she wouldn't go out with them one of them she didn't really like too much, and I told her she needed to get along with them, highlight of your life.\n Just try so she did And they started partying and stuff, and I like I said, I just felt like I was holding her back so we kind of just stopped talking, we thought that was best, but we both kept talking back-and-forth and then we said that we have to go completely opposite ways. Because I love that bond. We didn't want to leave each other, but I think it was for the best. I think it's like I knew her in another lifetime or something. We could answer each other's sentenceswe knew what each other was gonna say before we said it or when we were saying it was cool but I wish you're the best. I hope that she has a wonderful life. And she knows that she can always come to me as she needs anything20 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
5 moMy second ex was the closest thing to the love of my life, but there was a small aspect of incompatibility that bothered me about her. Or maybe it's just me being too picky with how someone should be.
To this day, I still don't know for sure why she left me, but I think it's because I didn't have my shit together. She told me it wasn't, but when I asked her to tell me what it was, she didn't say. So I think she was lying about that.10 Reply - 753 opinions shared on Relationships topic.
5 moWell I’m not sure now that she was the “love of my life “ but it’s the only time to date that I honestly felt “broken” by a breakup. So broken in fact that it took just over 2 years till I let another woman close to me , emotionally that is.
at the point that she was moving city , I decided that it presented an opportunity for me and decided I would move to be closer to her ( she was joining the forces ) . It was a horrible decision but I’d have always wondered / regretted if I didn't at least try and well it ended badly with her slowly being pulled away from me whilst I tried to keep our flame lit , against advice of those close to me , which In hindsight was naive for me to think I could. Not being with a partner physically places a near impossible strain on couples which is probably why im so against LDR’s
I beleive now that I loved her in a way that she could never have reciprocated, so deeply and intensely which goes some way to explain how destroyed I was when it simply HAD to end.
Searching my soul in the years that followed I don’t think I ever really recovered , just moved on , feeling like I’d lost part of me
So in that sense , yes I guess you could say she was the love of my life as it the only time thus far that I have lost a love.10 Reply
5 moDrugs. Also ego. Those two things feed on each other to a point in had to change who I was. I always looked for love outside of myself and always lost it, or wanted more.
I quit doing drugs and work daily to keep my ego in check. I realized you can only lose love you find outside of yourself. Love you put conditions on.
When your love comes from with in; it becomes a foundation, rather then a race to run, and something to catch.
unconditional love can't be lost. You already have it And Thats the trick!10 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Lockdown + health issues preventing me from being there for her in the way she needed. It was basically ended by force of the circumstances, neither of us wanted it to end but there was no continuing it anymore. We ended on a mutual I love you and her assuring me I did nothing wrong. It thought me no matter how unbreakable the love is, the relationship can still be broken beyond our control. Even if there is perfect love and mutual loyalty, even if you can talk over every issue without a fight, even if the whole journey was nothing but love, loyalty, compatibility and dedication it can still be interfered with and broken. Its a hard lesson for me to life with.
10 Reply726 opinions shared on Relationships topic. She died in October 2024. Most likely cause is an overdose but the results of her toxicology aren't back yet. She was on a combination of medication that both affected her memory and caused her depression to be worse so I get to wait until the bureaucracy here tells me what was in her system to know if it was accidental or deliberate.
Neither brings her back, so I focus on being here for my son as best as I can now.13 Reply- 5 mo

Not everyone can understand or live with someone with depressions.
I never found the love of my life.
You are such young - 23 is too young to give up.

Thank you. It has taken a lot to get to a point where I don't feel the depression as much but someday I still do. I won't give up though.

However there was somebody I loved and I was going through a really bad time in my life and I was not the easiest person in the world to get along with. Looking back I really do not blame her for dumping me.
