If your partner says that they will change something to not have an argument about it, and because you are mad about it they apologize and say they will fix it, but does not understand why you are mad about it, does that not just become pointless?

It’s not unusual for men to do something they don’t want to just to appease their girlfriend/wife, or to be “agreeable” for the same reason. Could we say it sucks? Sure, but at the end of the day it is what it is. No, he may not agree with whatever you’re bothered about but what’re you gonna do? Keep arguing? Keep pressing the issue until you feel like he gets it? Come on. There’s going to be things that you just don’t see eye to eye about but if it’s something trivial and not like a massive deal breaker then you shouldn’t make an issue out of it.
