False. Man alone in “paradise” sounds peaceful but also painfully boring. No romance, no passion, no flirting, no emotional growth, no chaos that turns into lessons. The “apple” is just a symbol for curiosity, desire, and free will. Without women, men might survive, but they definitely wouldn’t truly live.

Humans are made in God's image, thus what happened in the Paradise had to happen. You see, God Almighty is someone who acts of His own accord. Thus a human who does not would not be fully in God's image. A human not making use of the gift of free will would not be fully in God's image.

Not to say I'm thankful for the apple (or the fruit, the "apple" is the outcome of later retelling of the story in settings where apples were the most common fruit), but it simply had to happen.
