That would be like seeing what your partner thinks of you written in big red letters on a white wall and you just hadn't noticed it before. All of a sudden all is revealed.

You thought they loved you because they said they did but now you know they don't.

I'm not going to confront because that is giving away the power of them not knowing I know.

I can plan my exit in whatever way that will be to my best advantage.

If I see disrespectful texts, that’s a hard no. I’d absolutely confront them calmly, own that I saw it, and see how they react. Disrespect behind your back is worse than “snooping.” If they gaslight, minimize, or blame you, that’s breakup-level behavior. You deserve loyalty in public and in private.
