Which situation would you choose?

I did that. He was struggling financially. We are now an amazing team and together built our wealth comfortably.
in this case. You must be the one who is good with money. If both are not… then stay poor. That too is a choice or one can lead towards financial freedom.
I would rather be poor and happy together than rich and miserable
@WhiteBoyChill you can be poor and happy… then work together to build a fortune.
When you are able to pick the right person… life is much better.
When I met my hubby here in gag 2016… I had no clue lol… he lost his job then.. was just doing some side gig.
But I didn’t care.
We now are in a very good place. 10 years this year… time flies…
You kids hush along and get a good partner.
Xoxo
that’s the plan! Striving to be patient is all, XD
Definitely an amazing partner with money struggles. I would choose that every time over financial security.
Right 💙
I’ve seen females on here say finances are important. One even said she wouldn’t date a guy who has a roommate. So women are like this.
My aim on GAG is to help you untangle love, red flags, and all the messy human stuff in between.
I’d pick ❤️ with money struggles, every time. You can build financial security together, but you can’t manufacture genuine connection, respect, and emotional safety.
Rich but emotionally empty feels like slow-motion ghosting in your own relationship. Passion + teamwork > silent mansion.

I really have to have both so im going with the relationship ship first. Because I know me and I know in time I will get the rest of it to
I believe when your happy everything around you flows and many thing come around you whether it's an idea, something you build invent.\nYou just have to be happy , so you can see it feel it be ome it
I know its a one answer question but we all have more than one answer within us every thing we desire is right on the inside of us. I mean everything and with the right partner , those doors within us open.
That is the same way we fall so deeply in love
We were given everything to succeed.\nTo love someone comes in to our lives open those door within us when this happens then we experience it feel it because we are the only ones with in us
This happens dayin day out
We love that growth that experience
Thats why sometimes when we break up it hurts so bad because. That person is no longer with us. To open those doors to experience that energy and bond to help us grow.
We think our world is over
The truth is we need to open our own doors its starts with love loving ourselves
Sorry I get carried away sometimes because your question is very important question that we all go through kind of\n But there's just more to it.
And most of the time when I answer a question, I'm talking to myself, LOL, because I'm always trying to figure things out, so if I write it down, it comes a little bit easier, because I want those doors within to open. At the moment , I have to open myself , so thank you for your question
Hi ✨
My 1st boyfriend - young and struggled financially.
My 2nd boyfriend - in top 1 % of world’s population financially.
The next relationship I’ll have will be with a man who has enough to take care of the family we’ll be planning to have. And here’s why -
A man who struggles financially gets a woman he CAN get, not necessarily the woman he wants the most. His choices are limited and he might as well adore you and give you all he has, but you don’t know a man until you know him when he has it all.
A man who is financially well off, chooses a woman he wants. And I like to be the woman he wants instead of the one he gets when he is poor.
To have him want you even though he could have anyone - it means he really wants you.
No risk of him getting wealthy after years and figuring out he can get hot women, that he couldn’t afford when he was less wealthy.
I'd choose love every time. Having a partner you know is with you through thick and thin and you enjoy every moment with is priceless. Someone you can sail through life with.
Well said
I prefer an amazing partner who has no money troubles.
But... since that's not the question, I'll take the amazing partner. I'm pretty secure financially, and I can help her overcome her money troubles.
An amazing partner with money struggles because money comes and goes but having true love is priceless
Love acts as a painkiller and hunger suppressant. what do you think anyone with a functional heart will pick? ㅤ
Right? Who cares about being homeless and starving when you're incapable of pain and hunger.
Financial security - always!
The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.
I want money. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's what I want.)
Your love gives me such a thrill
But your love won't pay my bills.
I want money. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's what I want.)
Money don't get everything, it's true.
What it don't get, I can't use.
I want money. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's... what I want.)
That's what I want. (That's what I want.)
And, remember, money buys you the most important thing there is...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/lLCEUpIg8rE@7Phoenix7 to answer that would put me in "brain lock'... almost too difficult to answer because of the difficulty of dealing with 'money struggles"
I have always had money struggles and know the frustration of that, up until the last 2 years when my brother died, and left me his estate, and his beautiful, large home in Atlanta. Money struggles disappeared then.
Having an amazing partner is 'priceless' and maybe we could overcome the 'money struggles' with our mutual cooperation on the struggle.
Good, thought-provoking question, by the way. I never considered that situation.
I'm not choosing a back account. As long as he has a job and no crippling dept it doesn't matter if he's barely making it or swimming in money. Sure, the latter is nice to have but, but there are other more important things when it comes to a partner.
From the male side many men have said here, that they don't care what their girl earns though some do.
For myself, I would be happy with a broke waitress if she had the qualities I wanted and I have that luxury because I earn well.
I'd rather a girl that adds value to my life and to whom I can add value rather than one with whom we can afford luxuries because she earns equally well but with whom I have conflict periodically.
The broke waitress would be a no-brainer choice.
If main stream social media broadcasted expectations of a growing number of western women are to be believed it could be suggested that there could not be the potential for love without financial security being made available indiscriminately.
While I’m more of a romantic , where love has the stronger appeal , the financial stability of a potential partner IS a factor. For I don’t want anyone who is dependant upon my existence , only a woman that desires me and who wants to be in my life.
So assuming one is not at the direct expense of the other I choose both , if I had to choose I wouldn’t , neither is a choice I could live with.
I have always made sure I have my own financial security before doing anything else, but my relationships just happened. I never sought out any of them.
Money comes and goes. Sometimes you have lots of it, sometimes you have little of it. Until recently I would have said "amazing partner" but then I discovered that even "an amazing partner" can disappoint you, so I'd just go for the money. Money can't break your heart, people do that.
Twice, at that. The second time was just 4 months ago. I had just healed from the previous one, I found the new one. And she was perfect, her mind and mine were 99.99% the same. If there was anything crazy enough or lewd enough I'd think of, she'd think of exactly the same. Then suddenly decided she was "tired" of working internationally (she was a tour guide) and was gonna stay only in her country.
Here come the next 13 years in attempts to heal, but this time it will be easier cuz I have the practice from the first time.
I really struggle with this question because my ex was the love of my life, and she always tried to spend everything we had. She could not be trusted with money and she would leave for a few weeks just to get her way with money. Ultimately it broke my heart and I would say that I would definitely try financially secure as long as we had a good friendship. I think friendship is probably the most important feature of the relationship
Quality over money every single time. I can and do make do without financial security. I'm on disability, which is laughable with what you actually get to "support" yourself with. I would rather live in Detroit with quality loving relationships than have credit relationships and all the money in the world. It's people who make living worthwhile, not things
Fantastic question. 101% I would choose the struggles with an amazing partner. If you can have someone like that through hardship then you can handle anything. No added worries of cheating or boredom. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Me personally will choose love. True love is so powerful that no matter how hard life gets, no matter what you lose, or how I'll you become the other person will always be there with you. Because true love is not about what you have but all about being with that one person. True love can overcome the worst of things and last forever. Anything you have like money can't, and won't.
None of them.
Struggling with finances is not good. I don't want that. But I would never chose a partner because he is rich.
I know I need to live. I don't need more. I am not that luxury Barbie who defines how much money she can spend every month. Not me.
It’s a bit of a circle. An amazing partner for me would also have their finances in order and a personality that signals providing and security for loved ones even if they take risks for goals as well. I wouldn’t choose someone that is so irresponsible they don’t care about financial safety to have a healthy life bc that’s not an amazing partner for me. They would cause me a great deal of anxiety and that would negatively impact my health. Also itd impact my own finances in a bad way.
Partner.
That is why we are here.
Relationships, families, communities, kids.
Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Parents, spouses, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins. Community.
If you are alone and rich you live only for yourself, no purpose, selfish and your lineage ends.
If I'm with someone I truly love then I don't care if we live under a bridge and fight pigeons for food in McD's parking lots.
I have been trying as well.
But I think it's a myth for most of the guys.
The amazing guy any day of the week and twice on Sunday!! 😎
Twice on Sunday? You sure keep your partner busy on Sundays LOL
I think a meaningful relationship is built on more than just money.
Financial security is important for stability in life, but having a partner who truly loves you, respects you, and grows with you is something money alone can’t replace.
For me, what matters most is having someone who is willing to work through life together , supporting each other, building something meaningful over time.
Neither. But I'd prefer the amazing partner and help him with his money struggles. It's probably due a pattern of overspending.
Both don't look very appealing to be honest. As someone who has been married to someone without decent income, they become a liability to you. Even If you won't admit they are a burden, you will find yourself working 2.5 jobs trying to make up for their lack of income. Sounds fun?
Most gold diggers are female, as a man I don't care about how much money my partner have.
Amazing partner hands down. Money can buy things that can bring you temporary satisfaction, but a lifelong partner who is your best friend can bring happiness no matter the situation.
Honestly I'd go for financial stability. Feelings are fleeting and people change. Unless there was a 💯 guarantee that this would end with either of us passing of old age and we're happy, loyal and in a health union. Then I would choose "Love"
Lets be honest, Lust is a lot easier to handle then love.
Ha ha. Most women claim they want the amazing partner over the money, BUT reality and statistics PROVE they are lying and the majority of women prioritize money over a man and any kids they may have or want too. Money > almost anything in life for the majority of women.
That's a silly dichotomy.
Most relationship are made or lost over money and security. So if you're daft enough to date a deadbeat or coward, then you're never going to be out of the hole.
My finances are all in order, so I do not care much about her situation as long as it is not from a shopping addiction.
I would chose love of the person have money but I can’t trust them have a connection I won’t Even start dating them
Financial security. A guy with money struggles will not be an amazing partner but a guy guy with a significant income may be.
Not really
What a shallow take
Someone who enjoy's my company and wants me x10 as well as can provide something at the very least.🍒
Financial security, watch my parents argue for years over money so as soon as I could I started making my own
Seriously I would choose financial stability and then get a guy to bang me. Lmao
Just joking
I can probably overlook financial troubles if just about everything else was fantastic 👍🏻
in my opinion money problems are like the worst one can have. notice that most problems can be not only directly solved with money but one can buy time to for example look for experts and advisors etc.
I would choose amazing partner with money struggle. Money comes and it goes. As long as we have what we need and we both contribute to the bills and household I’m good
Ill take the money, I can find somebody to love me. If I can't find somebody to love me then I'll love myself
Struggle with a good partner any day if the week
I would choose an amazing partner even if we had money problems
Financial security 10 times out of 10 lmao. Not even close for me
I am financially secure without the help of my former partner.
I pick door number 2. If you have a fantastic partner , tjhe lack of money is not so bad.
I'm solid around financial matters so she needs only turn up for success.
She can be stupid with her money, as long as she's not being stupid with mine and I don't have to pay for her mistakes
Amazing partner with money struggles, no question
the great broke guy
Amazing partner and money struggles 👍
My mother always said
"Lucky in business, unlucky in love"
I'll take the broke girly. I already know how to get paid.
Financial security obviously.
@7Phoenix7 If a man has money he can find many "amazing" partners. A broke man however will struggle to get any women.
I will take financial security.
The amazing partner.
For women, it's all about money.. For men, we don't care so we would go with the amazing partner.
Money problems can be overcome.
Well, they're both kind of myths.
Explain
There's no no amount of money that cannot be lost or stolen.
Likewise there is no amazing partner that can't change on you.
So then what would you choose as a starter pack lol
I wouldn't. I pursued financial security over love. With what I see of love I probably made the right choice. But it wasn't far and away the right choice. I think they're both likely a disappointment. I think given they opportunity I'd probably make the same choice again and still be disappointed.
Are you happy or disappointed with your choice
I'm satisfied that I did my best thus far. If it's in God's plan for me he'll give me another shot.
That sounds like dissatisfaction lol
You're asking me this question at a bad time. I'm usually a very positive person and right now I'm trying to maintain that. I'm dissatisfied ATM. I'm not usually that way.
Why though? Why are you dissatisfied atm
Because I just lost someone close to me, who was a main driving force in my life. When that happens you feel like you lost a big piece of your heart. And it causes you to question why you do anything.
Ok, I’m sorry about that. That makes sense
Amazing partner 100% of the time.
Amazing partner with struggling
Hands down.
Financial Security
