People often say men never say no to sex… but I feel like that can’t possibly be true all the time. Life, mood, stress, timing… a lot of things can affect it.

So I’m curious what situations would make you say no if your girlfriend wanted sex?

I don’t like not letting someone answer based on gender so I won’t click “guys only”…

I'm a firm believer in consent from both parties, and timing and desire being right for both. I don't ever want a partner to have sex with me just because I'm in the mood for it, nor will I say yes just because she's in the mood. Sometimes I may prefer to just cuddle because I need physical comfort more than physical pleasure. Sometimes I may not be physically able due to my health conditions. Sometimes we don't have time to take the time to make sure we both enjoy it properly Most of the time I will gladly partake if my partner is in the mood, but every time it needs to be entered into with the full consent and desire of both parties.

I broke this in the past, but I'm older now and it's just gross. I like the sex but I don't want to stink or fuck some chick that stinks during sex.

Back in my war days (Bush Jr. and Obama years), my friends and I would stop taking showers for like 6 months just to gross out the hookers when we'd finally hit a port. I could literally smell my genital cheese and even my socks with through freshly washed clothes I just put on. Those days are behind me... I'm not like that anymore.

I'm trying to think back if I ever have said no. L o l.  I usually don't let things affect me.. And about the only thing that I can think of would be timing. And then, even then
I would still try to make it work in the time frame i was up against.  I have to laugh at that because i'm the guy that says there's no such thing as a quickie  Maybe.

I had a woman who was going through a divorce. Her ex-husband was still living at her home though (out in the garage). She wanted to take me home. But I felt it was much to quick and she was just using me to put it in his face so to speak. So I told her no.

The only time I've said no to sex was if I was really annoyed and i was trying to sleep. And now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure we had angry sex that night.

If there had been a recent argument, if she broke trust, if she has been mistreating him emotionally, if he is too stressed from work, or if he recently got a new video game that he is enjoying a lot. Any of those could be a reason for him to not want sex. Also, if she changed her looks. (Gained weight, got tattoos, nose ring, changed her hairstyle to one that he seriously dislikes so he loses attraction to her, etc.)
