Loving each other equally is better. I think I accepted a love where he loved me more than I loved him which is why it failed. I didn't really love myself and so I didn't know how to love him properly or enough. If I had, he probably wouldn't have broken up with me. He grew fed up with not being heard while he always listened to my problems and needs. That takes a lot of love to do that.
