Not at all , unless you like being their convenience because you definitely aren’t their priority if they are still open to meeting other people. Actually I can see some girls’ staying with a guy that still has dating profiles because some girls’ like a guy that keeps her on her toes. And makes her chase him instead of the other way around. Most girls’ like the bad boy type that she chases. When I stopped being 100 percent respectful and nice to girls after having my heart shit on from girls’ I gave my heart to. ’ that’s when i received a lot more attention from girls, even though i still consider myself a respectful nice guy, i learned not to be 100 percent nice to a girl , because girls’ are not really attracted to that for whatever reason , so it’s true that a lot of girls’ like the bad boy type ’ and it’s gotten me lucky a bunch of times from being this way. I am not an asshole to her , I just no longer tolerate her shit if she is being disrespectful to me , and that turns her on. So I tell guys’ all the time to balance in between good guy and bad guy if he wants to keep a girl by his side , otherwise she will leave him or cheat on him for someone else

Well, I am polyamorous so I don't mind if my partners want to have another partner of their own. Neither of mine do though so it's not anything I have to worry about, but no, it would be fine. Even if I weren't poly, it still wouldn't bug me as I keep mine active to look for friends to meet up with so it would be hypocritical of me to say they couldn't have one for the same reason. Now if I wasn't poly and they were looking for dates for real, then I suppose jealousy might kick in at that point and I would ask them to choose me or the profile.

Still, that's a weird position for me to ever think about considering who I am today

If all parties are aware, it is understandable I suppose.
The thing is, I absolutely was not. And last year during an argument he accused me of having a dating profile because I was suggesting to end the relationship. He said I must be looking elsewhere. We had a fight yesterday. I talked to a friend of mine and she said it sounds like he is cheating. She showed me an AI service where you upload a picture and they give you all the dating apps that person is on.. Et voila.. he was in dating apps.
So the relationship is over.. life goes on.

I totally get that it's seen as a betrayal in that case. False accusations are generally projection for what someone is doing wrong. I get you wanting to end the relationship and don't blame you in the slightest for what happened in that case.

Keeping active dating profiles while in a relationship is a huge red flag, not “just in case” insurance. It screams emotional unavailability and backup-plan energy. I’d walk away. You deserve someone who deletes the apps, not someone who keeps window-shopping while “committed” to you.
