4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. No one should depend on anyone financially, that’s the problem with this world, and why a lot of relationships aren’t lasting these days. A relationship is meant to be 2 people working together as a team, to have each others’ backs if something happens to one of you , cuz when you depend on someone financially , you are only hurting yourself , because shit happens in life all the time , . Why I will not get into a relationship with a girl , that depends on me to financially take care of her , because what happens if something happens to me? Like Losing my job , or ending up in the hospital that prevents me from working until I get better etc… A partner should have my back the same way I have hers’ , not one sided. One sided relationships do not last , because it’s not love , it’s just being used by someone that’s taken you for granted , kind of what my ex did to me because she didn’t want to work , but she loved spending money , her spending habits have put her and I in the hole financially because she is a complete moron when it comes to money. So my next partner better have work ethic and knows how to manage money without blowing through it like it grows on tress. My ex has taught me to stay clear of users

3 moRelationships should be the agreement between those two people. One thing that irritates me about the manophere and the feminazi's equally is all these pre-set standards for relationships that they have set in black and white.
If two people really want to be together mutually, they'll figure out a way. One of them isn't standing there refusing to do what it takes because the other doesn't meet this one pre-set standard or requirement like a teacher grading on a checklist.
So yeah, it's okay... fuck what the femanazi's say about that. It's between them and they put in their work their own ways. I mean she might be happier staying at home and grinding her ass off for a bunch of excess material wealth and vacations to France. Maybe spending that 8 hours a day at home with kids or the dogs, suits her better... maybe it suits him just fine. We're not them so we shouldn't judge.

And with that meme, I depend on my woman financially... I don't hear any complaints inside this relationship... just from the tards that are not a part of it. Over 20 years... what's their LTR's looking like? Yet they judge from their high horses.

3 moWell, I just quit my job so I can raise our daughter. Which means I'm financially dependent on my husband for the time being. I do have some savings and investments, but still.
I don't think it should be the default a lot of men use that as a way to control you and that's not good, but in life It can happen and I don't think it's a bad thing

Control you, how? I know many women who earns a lot more than their men and yet they are still being controlled and some of them takes their spouses income 🤷🏻♂️

3 moI say a woman should have a way to support herself financially without a man. Having your own money makes you independent and able to exit a bad relationship when you need to, or. contribute to and have a financial say in what your plans will be for the present and future. .

It’s “okay” only if it’s a conscious, mutual, and healthy choice, not pressure or manipulation. Total financial dependence can become a huge red flag: control, lovebombing, and harder escape if things go toxic.
Best vibe: emotional partnership, financial teamwork, and your own backup plan. Sexy and safe.00 Reply

3 moEvery relationship is different but nobody’s entitled to anything and it’s wrong to use someone without being honest. If you want a relationship that’s about financial benefits and you’re honest about it…. And that man says yes to that marriage. Okay…. You have both agreed on it it may not be my relationship but that’s between you.
If a woman uses a man for money and isn’t ever honest pretending she’s in love with him but would leave him instantly if he lost money or just simply find a man with more money…. Or what also happens dump him for a man that doesn’t have as much but she feels more attracted. Yeah that’s wrong.
If I was in a situation where I was in love with a woman and she loved me but I made significantly more then she does. I would consider the options such as having her stay home and focus on the children and home and myself….. Doing equal work in different situations and some people don’t think it’s fair. Look….. it is if a man’s working 70-100 plus hours a week is mentally and physically exhausted. The woman better be as well….. it sounds mean but it’s one sided if one persons doing all the work including around the home.
Just like there are relationships where both partners work full time jobs but the woman’s expected to do all the womanly things around the home. One sided there as well. Or a woman works so her man can play video games and smoke weed and he refuses to help around the house. I don’t like one sided relationships period.

We all know that things don't go right in relationships sometimes and you want to be able to do what you have to do and not be stuck and not be in that position is something ever does happen you want to be able to do what you need to do when you need to do it and that's the part where I would think that women would not want to depend on a man in that aspect00 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
3 moIt's whatever the couple wants, but realistically there's not many people who want a partner that just sits there and looks pretty. If you're going to depend on your partner entirely financially, you should at least be doing your part at home, making sure there's cooked food and the place is clean. And that's the bare minimum to ask for, because back in the old days people didn't have all the technology we have nowadays which make that stuff super easy... washing machines, dishwashers, vacuums, steamer mops, etc. Even with kids added in the equation, it's still much easier than women used to have it.
The desire to be a traditional wife is a growing trend because of the lifestyle people envision with it. It's honestly an easy life, that not many men can afford.00 Reply - 9.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic.

3 moAs a general rule, having all women 100% dependent on men is a bad idea. For an individual woman, in a specific situation, to be 100% dependent may be the best thing to do.

It's not a problem if the wife trust her husband blindly knowing that he will never dump her but i agree that she must be able to support herself if someday something happens to her husband and it can be anything...

You see, to me i don't consider that there's something called mine in a real marriage, because in a real sacred marriage the husband and the wife become one, so what's mine os hers and what's hers is mine...

3 moIt’s biological for women to be like this. Simply because women have depended on men to provide and protect them for almost all of human history. It’s evolution.
But feminism is trying to defy this to please a small minority of women. And this is leading to discrimination against men along with brainwashing. It’s far more difficult and competitive to be a sole male provider in modern times vs a 100 years ago.
If you want to be 100% dependent on a man. Fine. But you have absolutely zero room to complain when it comes to “gender equality” bullsh*t. Especially if you are an able bodied woman who lives in a western country.
If you want to have his kids and be a good mother to them then great. I respect that. But if you are just lazy and think you are entitled to 100% financial support just because you have a vagina then I have little respect for you.

3 moIf you are an adult you should completely take care of yourself 150%. If you can't then you are not worthy of marriage or children. It's as simple as that. You should be carrying more than your own weight so that you can help to support children and so that you can support your partner in times of hardship. People get injured, people get sick, people struggle in the job market at times, etc. So you should always be able to support more than yourself men and women alike. If you can't then you're just fooling yourself that you're not an amateur prostitute.
00 Reply991 opinions shared on Relationships topic. It can be okay, but if you really want to be partners, it would be better if she had at least some income. If he ever got sick or injured, which is highly likely at some point in life, it would be much less of an issue during recovery if the woman had at least some income so the couple wouldn't get so far into debt so fast.
For example, getting $500 more into debt each month isn't nearly as bad as getting $1,500 to $2,000 into debt each month. It is best to be prepared when possible.

3 moSure it's okay. It's up to the woman of course, but there is no reason she should feel ashamed if she enjoys that kind of relationship. In fact that is completely natural. Men were designed by nature and evolution to provide and protect women and children and women were designed by nature to have babies and make a comfortable home. These are their natural roles in a family unit which is the building block of the human race for survival. It has been that way for millions of years. A man, a woman and children. That's the building block that keeps our species alive. And men and women are physically and mentally built by nature to optimize them for those family roles.

Ya need a back up plan really or be built up so you can be secure somehow, or you have to really super duper trust them but ya know trust is hard10 Reply1.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If she wants to feel like she's trapped in a relationship. Let's say a woman lives with or is married to a guy who is a piece of shit. If that guy makes all the money and the woman has no money of her own but she wants to leave, what is she going to do?
00 Reply4.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It is not okay at all. If I wanted children, I would have some. And it's okay for children to depend on their parents, including their male parents, financially. I think the women you're talking about are grown-up adults, and they can go out and get a fucking job just like I had to.

3 moI think it's pretty hard to build a relationship as equals when one party is asking another for an allowance. Financial contributions do not need to be equal. But a degree of financial independence is healthy.

@TonyMetal___86 if you are 100% depending financially on a guy he can control you and if he dumps you after 30 years you suddenly are in a situation with go unemployment benefits or pension. This might have worked 50 years ago, but nowadays that's a risky decision to take.
