Honestly, no, you don’t fully see them the same. Once someone hurts you, even “jokingly,” it cracks the glass a bit. You can forgive, rebuild trust, and still love them, but that comment stays in the back of your mind. How they react afterward shows their true character: mature, or walking red flag.
