If i ever figure that out, I'll let you know. I was married to my first wife for 20+ years before an amicable divorce. I'm married to my second wife for 9 years and counting.

I don't have any secrets. I guess supporting my spouse in whatever she does helps keep the relationship going.

There’s so much stuff out there saying how you have to do this and that , and that you have to be superior to her for her to respect you and all that. It’s good knowing there’s people out there that you can just be yourself with. I’ve just yet to find it. I think a lot of women these days have lofty expectations and analysis paralysis when it comes to selecting a man but that’s a different issue.

I'm pretty certain no one here who had good relationships will tell you that they "kept" their woman.

About maintaining the relationship, well, either you register what makes her happy with you. Or you don't. And in that case you better be working to know how happiness works for her otherwise this relationship will fall part at the first sign of problem.
