Using solely regional culture to think of relationships quality is a quirky idea to me.

I'm not saying culture is irrelevant, relationship wise, because it certainly is defining us a lot but... You know, it's not like there was one true fixed culture in France anyway, things are blended, like the countryside guy may be quite different, culturally, than a city guy. Similarly, the blue collar guy is culturally different from your typical engineer etc.
