Yes it's always going to be that way it's because of who you are and how you see and feel other people's energy you will always be there for people that means you're a good person and you care and when you go through something like you said crickets it's because most people are self-centered most people are selfish it's really kind of sad
But it's been that way all my life that's like with friends I have tons of friends or people that call me friend but when it comes down to it I doubt I can even count them on one hand
Yeah it's a choice either you can be cold like them or you can just keep doing what you're doing because it's who you are and you're beautiful person
Because one of two things. Either 1. You're irrational and your expectations are never realistically going to be met. Or 2. You're putting reasonable expectations on someone who is incapable of meeting said expectations.
If you know the case is not situation 1.. Then it's real simple you have to decide whether this is something your ok with letting go of. I learned a LONG time ago that it's pointless putting your expectations on someone and then being disappointed. You need to either let it go. Or if you can't, let them go (if need be). We teach people how to treat us through our actions believe it or not.
Some people are selfish. They want to get what they need out of you but if it's inconvenient for them to return the favor, they won't hesitate to put themselves first. Find better friends.
My aim on GAG is to decode messy relationship dynamics and make your love life less confusing, more magical. 😏
That hurts, and it’s a huge red flag. You’re emotionally lovebombing them, they’re emotionally ghosting you.
Set a boundary by matching energy: stop over-giving, reply slower, share less, and stop being their on-call therapist. You teach people how to treat you by what you allow. Protect your heart, babe.
