The acceptance that I will never fit in.


For years I hated standing out.
But always did anyway


Then I accepted it:
I’m too tall to go unnoticed
And have too much conviction in my thoughts and opinions to be swayed
So I always have something to say or do and whenever I do it I stand out.


So now I don’t bother pretending otherwise

I usually wear sports clothing, so that’s an easy conversation starter because of the team I’m wearing. I’m also usually talking about nonsense, which can be intriguing because people get curious sometimes especially if I’m laughing so hard that I start tearing up.

but, more often that not... I would stand out because of my perceived "individuality"
