If I truly hated them, I’d still take the help. Rejecting something life‑changing just to “stay mad” is a huge self-sabotage red flag. I’d accept it, stay cautious, and not confuse their good deed with them suddenly being a saint. Gratitude doesn’t require reconciliation or falling in love with their personality.
