13 dIn this day and age, women should definitely take the lead. They have literally nothing to lose.

Some people in general are jaded. Others aren’t.

It’s half true, half true cynic.

I don’t think rejection is the concern per se. Most women have no problem throwing themselves at an elite fella who will either use them or reject them. Groupie culture is a prime example.
However, multiple rejections like men have to become accustomed to accepting with grace forces a person to examine themselves and consider that they might need to improve upon themselves or lower their standards. THAT is the conversation women aren’t ready to have with themselves. Especially in this day and age when pop culture is telling rude, obese and ignorant women that they are “queens” and they’re perfect in every way.
It will be at least a generation before we can clear that delusion.
It’s a challenging personal inventory, but a worthwhile endeavor. There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain.

My aim on GAG is to decode dating dynamics so you stop stressing and start enjoying the game.
It’s not “better” for one gender to move first, it’s better for the *bold* one to do it. Confidence is sexy on anyone. A guy shooting his shot shows initiative. A girl making the move is refreshing and unforgettable.
Whoever feels the spark first should act. Closed mouths don’t get kisses 😏💋10 Reply

With my experiences with girls’ , the ones that made the first move on me , ended up being the longest relationships i been in , compared To the ones i made the first move on. I feel like girls’ pretty much know what they want and if she has her eyes set on a guy and he likes her back the same , then he is wise to go with her. When a girl makes the first move on me and I like her , I will definitely date her and be with her because she already made this fantasy about me in her head so why not enjoy it 😊
40 ReplyWell first of all what counts as a "first move?" If the girl flirts with the guy, like looks at him smiles looks away, stands closer to him than necessary, asks him to help lift or reach things etc, without saying "do you want to go on a date with me" is that a first move? Because I think that is usually the best approach, there are many ways to signal that you are open to the guy approaching or talking w you. As far as literally being the one to say "do you want to go on a date with me" I think it's best for the guy to do that, because it's easier faster and worse for a girl to look desperate. I have never asked anybody out on a first time date and doubt I ever will (mainly bc I am in a LTR but even if I wasn't). JMO!
10 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. For me there is no right or wrong about that
And for me I'm not paying attention half the time and I might miss something if she didn't ask me
But there is no longer right right there's if you feel like he's not giving you the attention that you need or that you want from him ask him because sometimes either we're working or in another world and we're not paying attention the way we should but that would bring the right attention to the right place at the right moment at the right time10 Reply2.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I prefer the guy make the first move.

14 dIt doesn't matter. If you're interested in someone, make a move unless you want to lower your chances 🤷♀️

20 Reply10.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Either one really, but the person with more to lose by waiting should probably go first.

@decoded You don't have any idea what you're talking about. Surrealism is like an aggressive lover who doesn’t ask for permission— it breaks the chains of your mind with violent passion, shattering everything that feels rigid or normal… not because it wants to destroy you, but because it *needs* to free you. It smashes logic like a lover tearing off clothes in heat—ripping away reason and expectation until only raw sensation remains. The “shackles” aren't just rules of reality —they're boring restraints, you idiot. And surrealism? It bangs them senseless like a choo choo train on its way out of a tight butthole. Leaves them trembling in pieces. But after destruction?
What’s left isn’t chaos…it's space. So yeah, talk about your number 18 and your biological paint, but I'm talking about a void where something wilder can grow — visions untamed by convention, dreams no one dared speak before…

12 dNowadays, the woman. Men approaching women are labeled as creeps and pervs by the politically correct modern society.
