It kind of occurred to me today, back in my asshole days. I cheated on a really nice girl while I was in Brazil during the world Cup. She's married now and has a kid and she's really happy so I'm not going to contact her, but I don't know. I kind of feel like I should but I won't.

Never been in that situation but I think you’re doing right by not contacting her. She already moved on and all that would do now is stir some old wounds, the relationship is over so it would be pointless. It would help you be more at peace not her. If you want to ease your conscience a little just let her keep living her best life and don’t make the same mistake in the future with another woman.

I NEVER wanted to confess a cheating event, because it would never solve anything, only bring back sad memories of what a fuck up I was and hurt her. It was too long ago for me to dredge up the event now.

No. One time, her friend from Iran, someone she hadn't seen in YEARS, showed up and DECIDED she was gonna stay with us for a while. Neither of us offered or asked her to stay! One night, we were all in the same bed, me between them, and my girlfriend whispered to me that I should offer to fuck her; partly because she apparently hadn't been fucked in a long time. I rolled over and asked, she nervously said, "no", and that was fine with me. I rolled back over and we all went to sleep. I have no idea why I asked because I wasn't at all interested in her. I guess I was just being "polite". Kinda like if my girlfriend & I are both eating something and she asks me to offer some to this other woman! As my girlfriend was from India, maybe that's how they were over there. First off, this woman reminded me of my aunt and sort oof my grandmother. And she would sometimes wear a tin-foil hat, I mean, for real! Because she was afraid somebody was trying to bombard her head with radio waves, she wasn't very attractive and she would occasionally start having conversations with no one in particular.
About a year later, my band played at a friend's wedding and two of the people in the wedding party were my 2nd girlfriend and her boyfriend/hubby. Because of a situation that happened about a decade before, he told her that she was no longer allowed to have any contact with me. The seating arrangement had me sitting directly across from her but I never said a word to her other than to ask her to pass the salt. A week or two later, I get a passionate letter from her saying she wants me back!! I have NO interest in getting back together with her, I'm already spoken for!! My girlfriend finds the letter and reads it and decides that she can't come between us because of the great passion my ex has for me and she keeps trying to MAKE ME go back to my ex!! She was REALLY SAD to lose me and cried a LOT the next day or two until I FINALLY convinced her that I don't WANT my ex, "I want YOU!".

Another year or so later, she stopped having sex with me and a few years after that, I discovered that she'd been cheating on me!! But, just before I found out, she tried to set me up with some French girl, Ann. The night I first met Ann, she told me that she's going back to France the next morning so, even if I WANTED to get it on with her, there was no point to it!! Before the night was over, my girlfriend comes rushing in from the front porch, where she was with her new boyfriend, to warn me not to get involved with Ann but, as usual, she'd never tell me WHY I shouldn't get involved with her, only something about how she wasn't right for me and was evil, or something. How she found out on the porch with her boyfriend, I don't know. At this point, she was STILL referring to him as her FRIEND, David so, I just assumed that they WERE JUST friends. I didn't find out for sure that there was anything between them until a few months later when she admitted it. At that point, she said, "I thought you knew!" How the fuck was I supposed to just KNOW when she never told me? Except for fucking me, she still treated ME like her boyfriend!!
