Hobbies are very personal and it is a fact that not everyone likes them as much as you do. The important thing is to find a compromise. You don't have to like your partner's hobbies or even to take part of them. You can voice your concern about safety, risks and other factors that you dislike about them.

Rejecting a partner's hobby is putting a stress on the relationship and by rejecting them, you openly indicate that you disagree with part of who the partner is and likes. That is not a good start in a relationship and if you cannot accept a hoby, then you are better off severing that relationship because you are indirectly telling the partner to chose you or the hobby.
