Are people who work graveyard shifts really more likely to cheat?

Okay, my boyfriend currently works graveyard shift. When I told my co workers about that they immediately began telling me stories about people doing things in graveyard/ night shifts especially married people. I don’t know I was clueless about everything lol

Night shift itself doesn’t make someone cheat. Cheaters cheat on any schedule. But graveyard shifts can cause loneliness, miscommunication, and emotional distance, which can be a red flag zone if the relationship is already weak.

Focus on trust, regular communication, cute texts, video calls, and planning time together. If his actions match his words, you’re good. If he gets secretive, suddenly “too busy,” or starts lovebombing then ghosting, that’s when to worry, not just because of his hours.

It has nothing to do with what shift they work. Nobody has ever said, "Damn, I wish I could cheat; it's a pity the daylight is stopping me. If only I worked nights!"

It just puts you in the position for it a lot of the time. The women you meet tend to be party types who go out to bars, drink, then you get a little group, go to someone's house, drink some more...

And you build up this superhuman ability to get shitfaced and then be so well puttogether the next day no one would be able to tell most of the time.

I think that’s untrue. Guys who want to cheat and are hot enough to get a girl to cheat with will cheat regardless of what shift they work. Guys who are loyal and don’t want to cheat won’t no matter what shift they work.

I worked graveyard shift. Nothing funny was going on but, then again, we were all men.
I liked the shift except it's weird...
You got to work one one date and come home the next date.
And, after you go to sleep and wake up for your next shift, it's the same date! You've just gone from breakfast time to dinner time... like an 8-hour nap.
