Are people who work graveyard shifts really more likely to cheat?

Okay, my boyfriend currently works graveyard shift. When I told my co workers about that they immediately began telling me stories about people doing things in graveyard/ night shifts especially married people. I don’t know I was clueless about everything lol

No. , only cheaters’ cheat, so not everyone is a cheater , people that cheat are selfish people that only really care about themselves , that do not really care about their partner whatsoever , so if you are in a happy relationship with your boyfriend, then he more than likely isn’t cheating on you , but if you and your boyfriend argue and fight on a regular basis, and there is lack of intimacy and affection in the relationship, then that’s something that could trigger someone to cheat , or leave you for someone else, so you should try to fix your relationship immediately if that’s the case . It could also come down to what your boyfriend does for work as well , if he is in the medical field , like a nurse , then it’s possible he might be cheating on you , statistics show nurses and medical field professions are one of the top professions that cheat , it’s mainly because they are faced with temptations a lot of times, Nurses and Doctors’ are care takers , so they meet people all the time and if it’s a patient that they see on a regular basis , they can start getting close to that person and before you know it they are ripping each others’ clothes off , I use to work as an Hospital security officer and most of the nurses male and female, were cheaters’ that had partners’ at home , while they were slaving away at work and working long hours , they were getting to close to comfort to some of their patients or coworkers , I witnessed some of them hooking up with someone else numerous times. A few of the female nurses’ that were already in a relationship came on to me as well , I am not saying every nurse or doctor is a cheater , but there is a good chance they could cheat , since they meet people all the time. Unfortunately cheating does happen a lot , so the best thing for you to do is, is treat your partner the same way you want to be treated in return , if your partner decides to cheat on you , understand that is their problem and that they will suffer the consequences of their actions , why you should never take a cheater back into your life if you bust them red handed. Because that person truly doesn’t love you , they just love the convenience of you , so let the other person have them , and realize you deserve way better than that shit. People are faced with temptations na lot of times and if that person can’t resist temptations, they should never be in a relationship with anyone , because they are a selfish person.

Oh, I have a thing for a certain kind of Black that has what I need, and they definitely use the fact of their night shift to their advantage. They aren't policed as easily and they can make it work. Plus there is just something about sneaking around with white girls in the night. I'm sure this happens for other groups too, but just my experience in this one angel of it.

I think that’s untrue. Guys who want to cheat and are hot enough to get a girl to cheat with will cheat regardless of what shift they work. Guys who are loyal and don’t want to cheat won’t no matter what shift they work.

It just puts you in the position for it a lot of the time. The women you meet tend to be party types who go out to bars, drink, then you get a little group, go to someone's house, drink some more...

And you build up this superhuman ability to get shitfaced and then be so well puttogether the next day no one would be able to tell most of the time.

I worked graveyard shift. Nothing funny was going on but, then again, we were all men.
I liked the shift except it's weird...
You got to work one one date and come home the next date.
And, after you go to sleep and wake up for your next shift, it's the same date! You've just gone from breakfast time to dinner time... like an 8-hour nap.

I wouldn't say that. Cheating is about character and commitment, not what hours someone works. If there's mutual trust and strong boundaries, a night shift isn't going to change that.

I read men cheat because their not getting sex. I read women can do it for sex but the main reason is not getting the attention from the guy. They want someone to make them feel they are pretty. It does depend on the person obviously.
