She tells my brother that she has a gay friend that she went to the bar with him and he doesn’t hide the relationship to my brother but she’s not secretive with her phone and my brother knows that she has a gay friend that she goes out with and she is going away with him for a couple of days on vacation somewhere. The gay friend is a guy. You think this is suspicious to you? You think she has another boyfriend on the side and she’s lying about him being gay?

That's possible. My ex started hanging out with a guy whom she claimed was just A FRIEND and, because I trusted her and don't believe it's right for one person in a couple to begrudge the other of have friends of their opposite gender, I saw nothing wrong with it and said nothing. After a couple years, she mentioned being invited to go across the country on a drive with her FRIEND for a few weeks. I was in another town for a few weeks on my own while we were together and she trusted me and, I gave her no reason not to so, I afforded her the same trust and courtesy. Sadly, she DIDN'T keep the trust and started cheating on me with her FRIEND. So, as wonderful a person as she painted herself to be, she didn't live up to her own hype. So, I dropped her like a flaming bag of shit!

No, she cheated on me.
I called her up to ask if she was coming over for a family dinner and she said she was spending the day with him, instead, which she'd been doing for some time, not just him but sometimes it was some married couple or a lesbian friend of hers so, I jokingly asked if she was gonna marry him. She said, "Yes". That killed it for me!

Yes, letting me believe, the whole time, that WE were still together!! And then said, "I thought you knew!" HOW? You never told me!! Even after she told me they were getting married, she STILL called him her FRIEND!! And she contradicted herself several times (she'd tell me one thing and, a while later would tell me she never said it!!), which was also killing the trust, as was her stealing a thing or two from me instead of just asking if she could have it or if I could make a copy for her (In the case of a CD we both liked a lot).
