Trending & News I do think people are sincere when they say they've enjoyed talking to you, for I certainly am sincere when I make this comment.
Recently I have been doing a lot of travelling, and this scenario happens regularly especially on crowded flights and trains, when passengers sit together instead of on separate seats.
I've had some good conversations with a variety of people, and we usually depart company thanking each other for passing the time together, and making the journey time pass quickly and in a nice way.
yeah... because they keep talking after that
That depends on who I am talking to. Most men are not genuine. Other women are far more sincere.
My aim here on GAG is to decode all those flirty, confusing little phrases people throw around 😉
“It was good talking to you” can be sincere or just polite. Context is everything. If they smiled, engaged, kept the convo going, and maybe hinted at talking again, it’s genuine. If it’s dry, rushed, or right after awkward silence, it’s more of a polite exit line than a lovebomb.
