Are the compliments you give to people always genuine, or do you just say things to be nice and pump them up, not really believing what you're saying?

They are almost always genuine
I BS half of the time, to be nice
Unsolicited compliments always are, solicited not so much
I would just compliment something I actually liked about them, rather than lie, and give them a "false sense of security"
