As an IT professional I say you should never share passwords full stop. Especially if you have financial apps on your phone.

Now we don't why he shared the password with his cousin but it could be for emergency situations. A girlfriend went into ICU and her mind was so scrambled she cooked her phone with too many password attempt. Would have gone better for her had I knew it.

GFs are not as reliable as cousins because they can have unwarranted suspicions, jealousy, and anger fits. One girlfriend used my phone to text on my behalf to an older woman neighbor. No going to experience that again.

But since in this instance they were talking about boyfriend/girlfriend, I think siblings are more important before marriage. But not cousins.
