When someone uses you for an ego boost, they enjoy your attention, validation, compliments, or desire, but they don’t actually want you. They flirt, breadcrumb, maybe lovebomb a bit, then pull back. You’re basically their feel-good mirror, not their potential partner. Huge red flag.

That they used you for an ego boost. I wouldn't think much deeper than that. Because there are far too many variables to accurately predict ANYTHING.

I'm not terribly attractive, still strangely enough even though women have used me for an ego boost on many occasions. Many other women actually CHOSE me. Now, i only say i'm not attractive to make a point. There have been many women much more attractive than me that i've rejected. Because they didn't value me. I don't care what a person looks like, they still have worth. Nobody can decide your worth but you.
