There's a guy i was talking to for a few months but due to religious reasons i expressed to him that i know he's not interested in coming to the religion and that it might be best not to continue the relationship because our feelings were getting deep and it's better we stop it now but sometimes we still text because we still like each other but do you think i should just cut him off from everything and move on? and if i do text him or send him a pic of myself do you think he hates me when i do?

if this is what must be done and you can't accept one who is not of the same religiion... then you must be clear in the future.

if they are not of your religion, you don't even send a message... you should just tell him... then block the number and go your own why... so that he can be free to look for soemone else and you find someone who is the same religion.
