Understanding that an apology left unsaid due to pride can close certain doors forever…

Yeah, I realized late that “it’ll always be there” is the biggest lie we tell ourselves. I lost a girl who loved me deeply because I was half-in, half-out, chasing “better.”

Turns out “better” was already in my arms. Pride, ego and emotional laziness are brutal red flags in ourselves. The older I get, the more I see: silence is also ghosting, just slower… and some doors never reopen once they close.
