Well, I don’t think it’s a bad idea. Mainly because you never know who’s going to read your question, and some people really have some good feedback, especially when your situation resonates. They may not know the full scope and all the intricacies of your relationship, but not everyone needs all those details to judge it on a surface level. If someone says:
“I’m in a relationship where my partner constantly talks badly about me to their friends and family, isn’t working, drains all my money, and argues with me almost every day.”
I don’t need to know what the Askers history with their partners friends & family is, when they last worked and why they currently don’t, or what the root of all the arguing is. I can look at this bit of context and comfortably assert that the situation has become too toxic.
I think you'd rarely get helpful advice from an online community because we won't know the complete dynamics of your relationship. Even then, people are judgy.
Although sometimes you might get an interesting perspective that could help you realize something in your relationship.
Horrible idea.
Let's face it, most people don't really want advice they just want to read other people's opinions.. and then they're going to do what they were going to do anyways.
The fact of the matter is, people online have no idea what they're talking about. Take this app for example... There's a user who claims to be a relationship expert, yet she's middle-aged, still lives with her parents, and never been in a relationship in her life. Unreal
No. It's your relationship, not some online stranger's
don't rely on it as the gospel truth, but it might give you different ways to think about things that hadn't occurred to you
It's not bad,,
But better then getting no ideas. But also not good it you 100% depend on it
Nope, it is too hard to give without knowing the specific people
No. Not at all.
