Which relationship red flags are deal-breakers, and which can be worked through?

Which relationship red flags are deal-breakers, and which can be worked through?

No relationship is ever perfect all the time, and I wouldn't want the perfect relationship, but I think it's the negatives that make or break a relationship.

I've put together some situations in relationships, which do you think you would accept, or which would end your relationship?

Partnerships should be supportive of what we do, and encourage each other to try new things.

Both should listen respectfully when we have something to say to each other, be easy to talk to concerning our relationship, and brings issues in a calm manner.

Friends and family should like our partner.

We should have good times doing mundane things together.

But what if these negatives are in your relationship would you find them difficult to accept.

Partner is jealous or possessive, checks up on whereabouts, or asks partner to check in, who they are with, when they will return etc., controlling partners movements and who they see.

Big mood swings yelling one minute then sweet and apologetic the next.

Putting the partner down, calling them names, or criticising.

Blaming for problems in the relationship even though one person not fully to blame.

Partner threatens to destroy other person's thing's ie their phone, clothes, laptop, car etc.

Grabbed, pushed, shoved, choked, punched, slapped, held down, thrown things, or hurt in some way.

Bickering being defensive, sarcastic, fighting over nothing.

Infidelity in the relationship.

Is your opinion on a healthy relationship similar to mine, and what would you not accept and would end a relationship?

What is your opinion?

A. I would accept a few negatives in a relationship but I wouldn't accept violence.
B. It would depend on the degree of the negativity in the relationship, how minor or serious they were.
C. To save a relationship I would accept the negatives and try to work them out.
D. Any negativity would be near to the end of a relationship.
E. Something else.
