Liking a guy twice your age?

This may sound gross to some of you, but there's this guy which I presume is twice my age (I'm 18) in my campus. Aaand he's a teacher, tho he doesn't teach me. But he's not the serious teacher type, he sometimes comes to my class and goof around. Its not that I'm 100% sure that I have a crush on him, but the first time I saw him was before I went to that college and I was only there for a short course. I was like staring at him for some unknown reason until he realizes and stares back. And after that whenever he sees me or vice versa we sorta look at each other for a few sec until now. I don't know if he knows my name tho. Last month our campus held a party in a club and he was like acting all crazy, we were on the dancefloor and exchanged look but didn't get to dance together cause it'll be awkward for sure. And now I'm starting to find myself looking around for him in a way someone would look around to see if his/her crush was around. I even thought of saying hi or at least smile when I see him(he usually only give this stern look).What am I actually feeling/thinking?

NO there is nouthing wrong with it you 2 are adolts and if you like him talk to him and if he likes you back great there a teacher student intrest conflict there even though if your cool with it who cares

my cousien married her boyfriend at 18 to days after finshing high school he was 37 the had there 18th anverssery and still happy

If you want to make it work in a 'relationship', you're going to have to be mature for your age and very intelligent, or he's just going to look upon you as a 'piece of ass' instead of a 'girlfriend of partner'.

I think all you really want is to be with someone mature.

well he's not like that all the time, only at times. like I said before he only give me this serious stern look when he sees me I don't know why.

Well it's normal , I'd say, in early teenage years, to have a crush for a teacher. I remember this nice french teacher I had when I was 13 ;)

But now, and sorry if I sound harsh, that sounds like looking for a father's figure.

well he's not really a father's figure type from the way he acts. he often still acts like a 20-ish something.

Some older guys prefer dating younger women, I think it's because they view young women as exciting, energetic and sexy. The way you say this guys acts, I wouldn't doubt that he'll date you. As Confusion84 said try to get to know him first.
