Boyfriend obligations? What are they?

Beside being faithful, what are these 'rules' that guys have to follow when being a boyfriend? I don't see why guys are so afraid of being in relationships so I want to know what of it beside being faithful is so damn scary? I have never had a boyfriend but I would pretty much only expect him to be faithful so I was wondering what other girls expect their boyfriends to do for them?

The number one obligation for a boyfriend would be being faithful to his girlfriend. Other obligations could be being positive, supportive, and caring. Then again those obligations are sort of like being faithful or loving in the same sense. A boyfriend's obligations are different in every relationship. That is probably negotiated between the boyfriend and the girlfriend. What is so scary about being starting a romantic relationship and being faithful for guys? Here is my response. Some guys love to play the field and see what girls are out there for them to experience and have fun. Some guys are like hunters and want to go hunt. Just like some girls are like shoppers and want to go shop for different items like clothes and shoes for example. Some guys like to go hunt something different and not go hunt for the same thing again and again unless they have not caught that certain thing yet or if they are obsessed with hunting that certain thing. Some guys might not want to be in a relationship because being in a relationship can sometimes restrain a guy from doing things that a guy would like to do and that can possibly become like bondage or obligation. Also, some guys don't like to be changed by no one unless they are changed by themselves. The only thing that is scary about being faithful is the fear and the chance of being unfaithful or messing up the relationship. Hope this response can answer one or more of your questions. I would want my boyfriend to be around. I mean, what's the point of being in a relationship if you never get to see each other? My boyfriend lives 15 minutes away from me, and never wants to see me. How I get in these situations, I have no idea. With my luck though, I'll be single tomorrow.
