Go with your gut feeling girl. Yes, he is trying to use you and hopes your stupid enough to do it. You don't even know him yet and his asking you to buy him stuff? that is tacky and a big turn off for a guy to ask a girl to buy him stuff like his poor or something. maybe he is but its not your probably. Yes he is using you. You are right to listen to that voice that tells you that it's not right. ALWAYS listen to that voice because it tells the truth! If a guy asks a girl to buy him stuff he is a freeloader and lazy and trying to use you.
Men will not usually ask their girl to buy them things. If you like him other than this you could jokingly make fun of him when he asks you to buy something for him and see if stops asking. Cause he is not going to stop asking unless you either make some kind of a stand or dump him
