Saying I love you for guys--is it a big deal?

from a guys perspective how big of a deal is it to say I love you to a girl? what changes in your mind when you realize you love someone?

i said it first to my boyfriend, when I said it he wasn't ready buthe talked about how much he liked me and stuff.. anyways like a week and a half later he said he loved me (he said it first and yes I know he meant it) he then went on to say that he hadn't wanted to fall in love with anyone and that id changed his life

it depends on if its "i love you" or "im in love with you"

ive told a few girl friends & girlfriends that I love them and told one girlfriend I was in love with her. guess which one I regret?

i won't say I love you if I don't feel something real and for the in love I felt something I never had before

I can only speak for myself and say that love only develops with time after you actually get to know the person and have established something that's real. Like is merely the initial meeting of when you're lusting after the person based on the physical

Yeah it's a very big deal and is the ultimate "opening up" for me. It's not easy to do and I've done it twice with nothing lasting as a result. I hope that 3 times is a charm for me.
