Guys,do you really like leggings on girls?

Question

Every other girl wears leggings as pants these days and I think it´s disgusting..it´s not pants,it´s like wearing nothing..and I understand easy guys loves it because they can see their butts but do decent guys love it too?If I were a boy,I would never like it,it´s so lame,trashy and definitely not classy..and before you say it,I am not jealous-I have a great body,I love it and people notice my butt it even in jeans..I could wear them too but I really hate them,and think it looks disgusting..and the thing is I love butts,even on girls,not a lesbian,just I admire butts even as a girl :) but I don´t think any butt looks nice in legging,even of those girls who actually have a nice butt..

So do all the guys really love leggings and are not able to see that it´s not pants,that it´s almost like wearing nothing and all they see is just a butt?

and to all the girls wearing it,it´s your choice,your life,do whatever you want,I know you like it,but I am curious what guys think

i think it's stupid. I might like it if you were my girlfriend and you were putting on a sexy outfit just for me in private, but even then I probably wouldn't like it. I've seen a couple girls wear this at school and honestly it looks like you just got off from your pole dancing shift and showed up for school. Immediately I'm thinking she's a girl who's had many partners, or a girl who's single and desperate for attention from guys cause she desperately needs a boyfriend. Either way it's not attractive.

Personally to me, a girl who wears jeans and a t-shirt, smells good, and has her hair looking nice is about all I could ever ask for as far as looks go. I mean a normal looking t-shirt too not one that's extremely low cut and shows a bunch of cleavage. That's just me though:) I'm not into one night stands or going to clubs and all that. It seems like most guys these days take what they can get but I have more patience and will wait around for the girl who's worth it.

When you're working out, if you have a nice ass yoga pants are hot. On a day to day basis though leggings look sloppy. I don't like how they look on women. If she has a dress on, I'd rather see her legs. Leggings kind of kill the appeal of dresses. When leggings are worn under shorts, it's like just wear long pains you clown. =P When they are worn alone they don't really look good either. Some tights have kind of interesting patterns for casual wear, but a lot just look trashy. Stockings look alright when she's trying to look professional. Did I cover everything or do you ladies have more tight stuff you put on your legs... Oh socks... what's next. =P

I know I am not a guy but other girls commented on it so I am going to comment on it too. I also think is digusting and it looks cheap and trashy. It makes me think that the girl cannot afford a pair of pants. Don't make any excuses girls, there are cheap pairs of nice pants EVERYWHERE. I don't think leggings should under the same HEADING as pants. They are merely accessories to make an outfit cuter on a winter day under a LOOOONG top or a dress or a skirt. I do not want to see your butts because it jiggles

Here are rules I think should be generally followed when wearing leggings:

1. Make sure the material is not see though, otherwise everyone will see your crack and g-string.

2. When wearing leggings as bottoms its most appropriate to wear a shirt or dress that will cover your camal toe or that general region.

If any of the above rules are not followed then yes it is very slutty.and I like wearing leggings.

I have a pair of leggings that I love, that I will wear as 'pants', but they are extremely thick. They're only considered 'leggings' because they don't have a zipper in the front, haha. They don't show off my bum any more than a pair of jeans would. So, while I understand not liking it, because it can be very weird, I also understand wanting to, too. They're freaking comfortable.

i think it's the equivalent of wearing sweatpants. It's easy the colors generally match anything and I guess they are comfortable. I feel as though wearing leggings is lazy but then again I wear sweatpants as much as possible (although not nearly to the extent that girls wear leggings).

As far as how they look. I like them a ton on some girls and on some girls I think it is terribly unattractive. It would be like if every dude wore man hammocks at the beach (really it is a look for the guys who can pull it off). I also think it depends on the type of leggings, plain colored or maybe a simple stripe I'm usually cool with but some of the weird prints (spotted, leopard print, etc) are tacky.

I much prefer girls in jeans and aside from ocassionally seeing the girl with the amazing bod in them I could do without them. If leggings went away tomorrow I wouldn't be mad

Leggings as pants wouldn't even be so bad if girls actually wore underwear with them. I guess they want to show off the outline of their back cleft and front cleft. A lot of girls don't even realize how sheer they are. They may not look like it in doors when you look in the mirror but as soon as you step outside into the natural light, you can see everything.

Leggings are fine...they're definetely not the sluttiest thing a girl could wear. I get that some people don't like them, but people can't deny that they look good on attractive girls. Also, most of the time girls at my school wear leggings they wear a long top that covers their butt. I wear leggings too because basically they are skinny jeans but a lot more comfortable.

Not a guy but thought I'd chip in. Personally I would only wear them with skirts and dresses. Maybe in the gym it's a bit more acceptable but I still have trouble understanding why anyone would want the outline of their panties on show to the general public. If they are jeggings or very thick leggings then fair-deuce. Still, people can wear what they like I suppose and ultimately it's the girl that matters, not the leggings.

I think leggings are fine as long as you cover up your butt and front with a long shirt or a dress. Nobody (well, nobody decent, there are pervs out there, always be careful!) wants to see your buttcrack. Leggings are super comfortable, and I wear them to bed all the time.
