Me and my ex had sex, now he won't talk to me.

My and my ex broke up last may and it has been a mess since. A month ago we had sex together the first time for both of us. Then he told me that he wanted to still hang out, but that he didn't want to kiss anymore and get into the position where we would want to have sex again. I guess I annoyed him to the point where he doesn't want to talk to me again. I know he cares for me and wants me to be happy. I just know that soon enough he will come back into my life. It seems to me every time he likes another girl he shuts me out, all most as if he doesn't want me around, because I will distract him. I have mixed feelings like I know he doesn't love me anymore, but yet that somewhere inside of him he does love me. Please give me your thoughts, thanks:)
