Questions: Relationships

Is it really so creepy to want your first sexual partner to be a virgin? For you to ideally want your first love to be a girl/guy who isn't just claiming you as yet another notch on their bedpost, or settling for you as a mere fall-back option after having played the field and got it on with an unknown number of other sexual partners first? What's so wrong about wanting your first time to be your partners' first time as well, and to share your first sexual experience with one another; what's wrong with wanting to share your first intimate sexual relationship with someone else for whom it'll be as meaningful and significant as it is for you? What's wrong with wanting to be the one and only partner of the person who you, in an ideal world, would want to be your one and only partner?

I don't want my first relationship to just be a flash in the pan, don't want to enter a relationship with the assumption that it's doomed to inherently fail just because the vast majority of first relationships fail. Why does it seem like everyone else has this mentality that your first partner's the one partner which has to be swept aside and discarded quickest of all? I want to make my first relationship my last, want to take the time to find someone who I could envision spending the rest of my life with and truly connect with that person, because true love- or at the very least, the idealized notion of it- appeals far, far more to me than the hedonistic pursuit of cheap, meaningless sex.

I want an emotionally fulfilling, stable and sustainable relationship, because I feel that it'd be more rewarding than the short-term highs which I'd get from pursuing sexual quickies with disposable, purely casual partners would provide. Is that so wrong? Is it really so shameful to desire a single healthy monogamous relationship, instead of desiring sex with as many partners as possible over the course of my life? And why is this deemed to be so "sad", "pitiful" and "pathetic"?

Would you rather be the backup man (a guy she holds in reserve as a friend and only considers dating when she become desperate or as a rebound guy to make her ex jealous post breakup) for a beautiful woman.

Would you rather be first choice picking (the guy she really wants to be with) for a girl who is below average in looks.

Personally i think that for woman today and people in general sex/relationship are fast paced and people are jumping in bed (sometimes) without protection within days or weeks of meeting. So when a nice guy comes along and decides to take time to get to know a girl for maybe month or 2 before asking her out many women have already solidify him as non-sexual in their mind.

Hence, as men you kind of have to escalate things very sexual at the start or women will drop you into the non-sexual category for the rest of their life.

What do you guys think? Is the phrase nice guy never get the girl because they never ask her out true in most cases?

People often say that people pair up with those that are like minded, and that the good girl pairs up with the good guy and party girl with party guy etc. However, this is an ideal concept and the world is anything but ideal. The reality is that people don't often pair up with those of like minded. And in the case of women being good or bad really doesn't hold much weight when it comes to their attraction towards men. What takes paramount is looks, money and status.

So your a good man. However, you are born average looks and you don't have high social status or wealth. Overall around your time in your early -mid 20's you won't get a good woman to look at you. The reason is because the good woman would be chased by and/or pursue after better looking men, rich men and/or more popular men than you for relationships and looks (hypergamy).
So as a good man your left out with a choice of continuing the course with a lack of love or switching from going after decent women for girlfriends and target lower quality women.

So should good men who are having a hard time getting the good, woman and switch to lower quality women for love?

Example:
Rather than going for a girl who is nice, decent, doesn't sleep around and come from a good family with morals and values maybe start being more open to date a girl who is a stripper and has loose morals and values on things. Tends to be very sexually open also.
