Would you take them back?

Me and my partner have been on and off for years

There was an incident last year and I got a restraining order on him

So the police placed it on behalf of me so he cannot be near me or contact me

But me and my partner reconciled and continued our relationship secretly

However now we have a baby together - born few weeks ago

This is our first child

Before I gave birth - we had an argument 2 months ago and so I reported him to the police out of spite

And now he is in jail for 2 months

I regret it so much and I miss him

I paid a lawyer for him to try to bail him or get him less sentence..

Im paying his rent until he gets released

Since he's not allowed to call me in jail, he calls my brother

He told my brother:

- he's not angry at me

- he wants to be with me and our daughter

- he plans to marry me

- its really bad in jail and wants me to know how bad it is

But today when he called my brother, he said:

- him, me and my brother needs serious talk.. all 3 of us

- he thinks I dont realize how serious it is

Why did he say that?

Why does he want serious talk?

he's angry isn't he?

why does he want my brother there when he talks to me?

Does he want to leave me?

Is it normal to have a boyfirend partner that doesn’t want babies? I hear stories either the guy wants kids and the girl doesn’t or the girl wants kids and the guy doesn’t. There’s no in between unless you are super lucky 🍀 and got a guy that you love and also agrees & wants kids. The guy that I love doesn’t want kids ☹️ I don’t want kids with a new random guy I don’t love. It’s not the same. Nor the purpose.

I recently went to download festival this Friday with my friend, I have a partner and he was completely fine with it, unfortunately he doesn't like festivals or I would've loved for him to come.

I kept him updated, drank a bit but safely, lathered up in suncream and had a great time.

However, I know some people that are really controlling, and their partner would never let them do this. In my opinion, if you're afraid it would be a way for them to cheat then 1. You already have an issue with trust in your partnership, and 2. a bad person is going to end up doing a bad thing no matter how much you control them.

In my opnion I wouldn't date someone that tells me if I can go to a concert or festival or not.

To make it clear, I don't take revenge, because I think it kinda lowers my spirit and will be bad for me emotionally, so I just try to recover fast and let it go.
Seems like I can't completely let it go, because my husband has said to me things, that really hurt me and he said those things on purpose. I kinda forgave him.
Now some time later he has been experiencing major difficulties in life, he has some serious problems and is feeling down. I am supporting him and doing everything I can and should.
But I also remember times he let me down and feel satisfaction whenever I realize that now he might be feeling just as bad or even worse.
Now that I've put all this out I think I sound really shitty, but anyway, I'm open to any opinion da any advise if you one.
